When she rubs up her head against my leg is that some kinda sign?
When she yells and wakes up in the middle of the night
Is she saying that she's hungry? Iis that the reason she cries?

How is my cat feeling
And how is she dealing
It’s just so hard to know
When feelings don’t show
Maybe I will ask
How are you my cat?
Can you tell me why?

When I scratch your belly at first you like it a lot
Then a moment later you claw and bite did I scratch the wrong spot
A cardboard box is how you scratch your nose
How does it feel to have black beans for toes

I know you'll chase a mouse
And your brain, it weighs an ounce
With those amber glowing eyes
I try and empathize
Your breath it smells gross
But I love you the most
My friends may be allergic
But you're the one that I pick

You stare at a wall like it's a classic work of art
You're not too bright, but you’re a delight with a place inside my heart
You jump like a ninja that’s part of why I think you’re cool
You’ve got vampire fangs and if you are one, I want to be one too.
